The average temperature last year was 10.5 degrees Celsius, nearly a full degree higher than the average historical level since 1961.

从空间分布看，全国大部地区气温偏高0．5摄氏度以上，其中东北北部、西北大部、黄淮东部、江淮东部及内蒙古大部、辽宁中部、四川东部和南部、贵州西部等地偏高1至2摄氏度。

全国31个省（区、市）气温均较常年偏高，其中北京、四川、宁夏、广东、广西、新疆、河南、贵州、辽宁、青海10个省（区、市）平均气温为历史同期最高。

From the view of spatial distribution, most regions of China are 0.5 degrees Celsius higher, some places are even 1 or 2 degrees Celsius higher than past years.

10 of the country's 31 provincial-level regions recorded their warmest year on record last year.

国家气候中心副主任巢清尘介绍，2015年是有现代气象记录数据135年来全球平均气温最高的一年，赤道中东太平洋大部海温异常偏暖，厄尔尼诺事件继续发展。截至2015年12月，本次厄尔尼诺已成为超强厄尔尼诺事件，强度达到历史上第二强，仅次于1997／1998年度。

"1997、1998年的厄尔尼诺现象在黄河多地造成了暴雨和洪灾。所以我们还要对将要来到的这种极端天气多加注意，尤其是雨灾和洪水。"

Chao Qingchen, the vice director of the National Climate Center says China needs to be concerned about the extreme weather caused by El Nino.

"The El Nino in 1997 and 1998 actually caused severe rainstorms and floods in the majority of areas along the Yangtze River in southern China. So we still need to pay close attention to this kind of extreme weather, especially the heavy rains and floods."

不仅是中国，2015年也是全球“最热年”。2015年是有现代气象记录数据135年来全球平均气温最高的一年。

其实，2014年4月起，赤道中东太平洋的海水就开始“发烧”，到10月份正式形成了厄尔尼诺事件，至今已持续20个月，目前已达极强等级。

Not only in China, 2015 was also the warmest year globally in the last 135 years. Actually, the El Nino phenomenon has been started from April, 2014 and lasted for 20 months. It has reached the higest level since now.
